Another early wake up and an opportunity to visit with Melissa on line.. then Kelly headed off to McDonald's for my (always needed) coffee. He returned with bacon, egg, cheese muffin and hash brown to round out our breakfast.

Then to LB where we headed to Songdo University where they are holding the 2013 indoor Asian games. Aaron met his friend Dennis (coordinator of the games) who graciously supplied us with tickets to see the Futsal competition.

...and the game begins!

A close game all along but United Arab Emirates beat Iraq by a close score of 3 to 2!

I love the Games Mascots!

We decided to stay and watch the second competition and took advantage of the drink machine in the lobby.

Jeong Mi showed Kelly that he can put money in for two drinks at a time.. most of us l went with Pepsi, but Jeong Mi had lemonade.

The next match was between Indonesia and China Taipei. It was not  a close  match - Indonesia was a much better team. Amazing to watch the Taipei goalie scoring by throwing a ball from his goal area into the opponents' net!  Needless to say, we all clapped and cheered.  He gave up a goal a little later by being too aggressive and got caught out of his net.  He really tried to inspire his team to achieve victory, but was unable to do so.

Indonesia beat Taipei 7 to 2 but it was fun to watch so many goals in one game.  During one time, a reporter from an Asian Newspaper chose Kelly to interview him regarding his thoughts and opinions on the futsal game.
Then it was a taxi ride back to the apartment. We had washed a load of laundry before we left. We got it hung on the lines in their kitchen.  Then Kelly and I walked to Lotte Mart to get Kentucky Fried Chicken for lunch  and to buy some towels to take to our lake adventure. We had to stop at Baskin Robbins where I never turn down a Jaimoca Almond Fudge cone. A much needed nap  - then back to LB for evening entertainment. (Tonight's food of choice was the beef pastry pie with fries. We had a nice visit with the LB patrons then it was another walk back to the apartment.
