Tuesday, July 2nd, 2013

The rains came.. we heard them through the night and they continued throughout the day. Though we really cannot complain because it was the first real day of rain since we began our Korean 2013 adventure June 23rd. We walked to Paris Baguette where we enjoyed coffee, hot chocolate, cinnamon sugar pastry, and a hot dog.

After our breakfast we walked the blocks and browsed some of the shops. We then went back to the apartment where we read and rested. We then met Aaron and Jeong Mi at 1:00 at LB.  Aaron then had to leave for his private lesson. We used this time to work on uploading pictures and working on the blog. When Aaron got back we went to a second floor restaurant called Donkas King. It is a Buffet style restaurant where you can take what you want but they charge you extra if you leave food on your plate. We had cabbage salad, rice with curry, a creamed soup, coated chicken, pork, fish, cheese, yellow radishes,... they also had a number of spicy foods that Kelly tried but I did not. Very good and filling and we had a great view of Yeonsu.
The Mormons were out at the corners talking to the pedestrians.

Yep in the white shirts and ties.. Mormons dress the same no matter where they are.
Another walk through Lotte Mart with Aaron and Jeong Mi - then back to rest before our nightly visit to LB where we enjoyed watching Dan and Aaron play darts against competitors from around the world (almost like a Skype set up).

We had an enjoyable visit with some of the bar's customers.
 Another good day and evening.
